Everything you’ve ever wanted to ask

Foot massage is an ancient art of healing that began over 5000 years ago in China and India. The ancient eastern practice is based on the philosophy and principles: the body’s organs, including the brain, are connected by energy channels to trigger points in our feet. Once these points are ‘pressed’ the channels are unblocked and the energy is released allowing it to flow to the corresponding mirror points in our body. Therefore, when our feet are tired, so are our minds and bodies.

Yes, absolutely. The Thai Foot Spa is an intimate sanctuary – the perfect destination for friends and couples.

Absolutely not. Our treatments are designed to suit both genders. Our pavilion-like sanctuary is elegantly furnished in Asian-inspired decor to appeal both males and females.

Yes, most definitely. Our treatments have been purposefully designed for total relaxation and to foster a feeling of well-being.

We prefer to leave that decision up to you; we do not condone ‘pushiness’. However many of our clients enjoy regular treatments, whether it’s weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

We feel the main purpose of a Thai foot massage is two-fold. Firstly, it’s the enjoyment of the actual massage treatment; it’s soothing yet its focussed application on key parts of your body offer an overall feeling of well-being. And secondly, after the massage you feel at peace, in harmony with the world; you feel a sense of incredible tranquillity.

No, we do not. This treatment is a dry massage and has been specifically designed to ensure you can enjoy the soothing experience at any time then continue with your daily routine feeling fabulous without the need of a complete hair makeover.

Ten is the maximum number, however we are flexible. For example, if there are fourteen guests, we will divide you your group into two sessions: seven people will receive their treatments, and then the next seven will receive theirs. If the number is uneven, such as eleven guests, we have ten chaise lounges in our Thai Foot Spa – we would treat six guests, and then five. We always ensure everyone is catered for.

A maximum of 20 people is a comfortable amount.

If there is maximum of 20 people, then we divide the group into two sessions.

We create a private dining setting in the treatment room so that everyone can chat and enjoy each other’s company while the treatments are taking place. While one group is having treatments, the remaining guests are seated at the table enjoying pre-selected fare and beverages.

We have an excellent Spa Cuisine Menu created exclusively for The Thai Foot Spa. You can view our spa cuisine menu here.
